- Tests could run between IQMA-based agents, or could be initiated from IQMA to different response-mode agents.
- IQM system provides support for specific quality measurement agents based on Cisco IP SLA, Juniper RPM.
- IQMA could use any network device with UDP-echo running as response agent.
- IQMA could use any network device with ICMP-echo running as response agent (near to any network device)
- When performing application-layer tests (L7 OSI) IQMA could use the following network services as response-mode agents: FTP, HTTP, IMAP, RTSP, SMTP, TFTP etc.
